Insemination and conditions

Insemination at Lollands Varmblod

All mares to Lollands Varmblod’s stallions can be stabled at Lollands Varmblod, by agreement with Kaj Olesen.

The mare is stabled at the owner’s expense and risk. Lollands Varmblod disclaims all liability in the event of injuries, accidents or the like. A veterinarian is requested by agreement with the mare owner, with the exception that a veterinarian is called in the event of acute illness, at the owner’s expense

When the mares are stabled at Lollands Varmblod, insemination with fresh semen is not associated with additional costs.

In case of insemination with frozen semen, ALL costs are paid by the MARE OWNER.

Terms of payment

1st installment is due at the first insemination. 2nd installment is due 70 days after the mare is tested positive. It is the mare owner’s duty to notify Lolland’s Varmblod if the mare did not conceive.

PS. “New breeders” must be aware that if the mare does not  conceive in the 1st insemination period, the mare can be inseminated again, without having to pay another 1st installment. This applies to the current season.

All prices are excluding cover certificate and VAT.

Sperm boxes must be returned.

Stable price per. day DKK 100 + VAT.

Mares that are inseminated for the first time after 15 July and do not conceive will have their 1st installment moved to the next year.

Transport semen

If the mare is inseminated at your home, refrigerated semen can be sent or picked up by appointment.

Prices

Preussentanz: Refrigerated and fresh semen.
1st installment DKK 4,000 + VAT and certificate (due at insemination). 2nd installment DKK 4,000 + VAT (due after 70 days of positiv test, if there is no negative veterinary certificate).

Preussen Party: Available for fresh semen in Germany at Gestut Hämelschenburg.

Preussen-Wind and E.H. Schwadroneur only by frozen semen.
